Day 336 - Dinner with friends, trying to avoid baby talk

Dear Simba,

I had a busy morning at work but managed to finish early in the afternoon. Our friends have arrived, and we enjoyed a lovely dinner together at our favorite local Indian restaurant.

One of my friends has been struggling with fertility, and I’m trying to be mindful of how talking about babies might affect her. I’ve become much more aware of how sensitive and painful this topic can be when things don’t go as planned.
