Day 337 - Feeling blessed and wondering if she’ll like me

Dear Simba,

It’s nearly 1 AM, and I’ve had a wonderfully full day. We visited Kew Gardens, strolled around the area, enjoyed lunch, spent some time at home, and then went out again for dinner. Surprisingly, I don’t feel as tired as I thought I would after such a packed day.

As I head to bed, I feel so much gratitude—for the gift of good friends, for your incredible daddy, and for the most precious blessing of all, who will soon join us.

Still, I can’t help but wonder: Will I be a good enough mum? Will she like me? Will we bond the way I hope we will? I really, really hope so.
