Day 338 - Being reminded of how lucky I am

Dear Simba,

It’s been a whirlwind of a weekend with our friends visiting. Spending time with them was lovely, and I hope they enjoyed it as much as we did. 

It’s now quite late and I’m feeling quite tired, and your daddy seems to have come down with a possible tummy bug.

Lately, in my circles of friends and family, there seem to be a lot of breakups happening, which makes me pause and reflect. It reminds me of just how blessed I am to have your daddy. I love him so much, and I’m endlessly grateful for the bond we share.
