Day 343 - Will she like me ?

Dear Simba,

Today we celebrated your aunt’s birthday with a lovely dinner in East London. It was a wonderful evening, but during dinner, your daddy and I had a little realization—we only have about 3.5 weeks to go until your baby sister arrives. That’s not much time at all!

We’re both feeling nervous in the best possible way—excited but also a bit scared. Lack of sleep is a big worry for us, and we’re so curious about how our lives are about to change. As for me, I keep wondering: will she like me? Will we get along? Will we be friends? What will it really feel like to live together?

I hope I can live up to everything she’ll need from me. More than anything, I hope she’ll like me and that I’ll make her proud.
