Day 347 - She’s at term!

Dear Simba,

Today is a milestone—your baby sister is officially at term, and everything looked good at the scan.

She’s moving a lot, and I can feel her energy, which reassures me as we enter this final stretch together.

There’s still time, and I know things can always take an unexpected turn, but the closer we get, the more optimistic I feel. My antenatal groups are sharing pictures of their newborns, and it makes me hope so deeply that all will be well with your sister too. I dream of meeting her, of being lucky enough to take photos and share them, to cherish those moments.

I realize now how easily some mums might take that for granted—the miracle of having a healthy, living baby in their arms. I don’t take it for granted. I hope with all my heart that we’ll be so blessed.
