Day 356 - Relieved - good news

Dear Simba,
Wow—what a day. The hospital had me do another CTG scan, and then they called me into a room with a doctor. My chest felt so heavy as I braced myself for bad news, but instead, they gave me reassuring news.
The doctors consulted with the fetal medicine team and concluded that there’s no need for additional scans or CTGs. They said everything looks fine. The doctor explained that even if you and I were monitored, we’d likely show up to 5,000 ectopic beats a day—it’s that common and not necessarily a cause for concern.
Hearing this lifted such a weight off my chest, even though part of me still feels it’s too good to be true. Tomorrow, I’ll also see my private doctor for my regular visit, and I’m eager to hear his opinion too.
For the first time in days, I feel closer to finally welcoming your baby sister into this world, and I can’t wait.
